Sr. SAP HCM Consultant
Client based in Saudi Arabia-Dammam
This job description focuses on a SAP HCM Functional Consultant with expertise in specific modules and functionalities:
PA (Personnel Administration): Managing employee master data, organizational structures, and jobs.
OM (Organizational Management): Defining organizational units, positions, and reporting structures.
PY (Payroll): Configuring payroll processes, including deductions, benefits, and tax calculations.
RE (Recruitment): Managing the recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to applicant tracking.
Focus Areas:
Time Management: Configuring work schedules, absences, and time recording for accurate payroll processing.
Payroll & Time Schemas: Expertise in customizing payroll and time management schemas using Processing Class Rules (PCRs) and schema logic. This ensures complex calculations and deductions are handled efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements specific to these modules (PA, OM, PY, RE, Time Management).
Configure these modules to align with company policies and best practices.
Develop and implement time management and payroll schemas using PCRs to automate complex calculations.
Integrate these modules with other SAP systems (e.g., Finance).
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting issues and keeping configurations updated.
Train and support users on functionalities related to these modules and schemas.
Participate in project lifecycles for implementing and maintaining these modules.
Stay updated on SAP HCM advancements and best practices in these areas.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in HR processes including recruitment, payroll, and time management.
In-depth knowledge of SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, PY, RE, Time Management).
Expert-level understanding of payroll and time management schema configuration using PCRs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Desired Skills:
Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (cloud-based HR solution).
Knowledge of data security and HR compliance regulations.
Experience in report development tools (e.g., SAP Query).
